These loans go from the lowest amount of $5,000 to a maximum of $50,000 or ten percent of the homes value whatever is least . The payback period is up to twenty years and the loan is attached to the home and not to the individual so when the home is sold the balance of the loan is passed over to the new owner.
Demands should now be put on other cities and States to pursue this Green trend as San Francisco demonstrates the future for home solar power.
